Nothing new, yawn yawn yawn

Today was not the most exciting Saturday I have ever spent, but perhaps that is a good thing. I did about thirty problems from my Logic book to prepare for the test on Tuesday. That's one class I'm doing really well in, so I don't want to screw it up. At seven I went to Confession, and my confessor was a very good advice-giver as usual. I'm lucky in that regard! My sister goes every week at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and she says sometimes the priests don't say much. Then again, a lot of them are foreigners, and I would not be too happy-slappy to give advice on salvation vs. damnation in French ... too important a topic to be accidentally using the word for "shacking up" when you mean to say "pray..."

Snore. That's all. More work to do tomorrow ...

  1. Blah. You're right about the priests at the Basillica. Lots only speak Spainish. Generally decent people though. Watch out for the Nigerian guy who changes the words of absolution.
