Back home at last

Well, I just got through with my first full day at home. Of course, it has only been two weeks since I was here last, so it's not so much of a readjustment. The big readjustment will come when I finally start unpacking. Yes, are you surprised, I have yet to crack open even one suitcase? I am most definitely not looking forward to lugging them up the steps ... Ow ...

My final exams went well, or at least, as well as can be expected. My Introduction to Fine Arts exam was the worst. My psychology and public speaking and my annotated bibliography were all fine, however, so maybe it will all balance out. I'm hoping for a 4.0 this quarter, but I think that IART is going to drag me down :(

Before I left school, Lyndsey and Lauren came by to meet my mother. I bet they found that interesting! ;) I was very pleased that there were no deaths. My dorm room got a clean bill of health from the RA who inspected it, although honestly he didn't seem to care very much, one way or the other. I got thirty bucks back for my books at College Book Store. They're usually very fair, if somewhat psychotic about what books they will buy back and what they make you take home to burn for heat.

Back in Hudson means back to Immaculate Conception, although I am thinking about trying the early, early Mass at St. Mary's. Just to see if they do a little bit less damage to the liturgy, since I suspect that 8:30 is a bit too early for the Insane Liturgist Posse to be up and about ;)

  1. Yay, Maggie's home! :throws confetti:

Did you go see the new library today? It's so awesome! You can like get LOST inside the building practically, lol. It's a nice change, to say the least. I'll give the "Borg" his due on this one, lol! ;) ;)

  4. Oooo, 9:30? If they last an hour and a half or less, that would leave us time to go to Cleveland, too! :)

  5. We got out a little before 11 this week, but sometimes Doc talks longer. However, if you just stay until the end of the services, grab a cookie and run, you should be fine on time.

Heck, you could even sneak out during communion, since you can't take it in my church and all, I suppose.

Let me know if you're interested since I REALLY want you be a bossy friend and drag you to my church (again) lol! ;) ;)
