Narnia

Mother, my brother Arthur and I went to see The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe this weekend. It was a fantastic movie; I was particularly pleased to see that the Christian allegory was NOT gotten rid of. Most spine-tingling moment: When Aslan tells the White Witch (aka the Witch of Always Winter), "Don't lecture me about the Deep Magic! I was there when it was written." I remember it was when I read St. Augustine's Confessions that it finally dawned on me that God was outside of time, and that the mystery of the Trinity meant that Jesus and the Holy Spirit were also outside of time and thus could exist before "the beginning." D'oh, basic theological epiphany!
