The Vatican Christmas tree is lit up at the end of a ceremony in Saint Peter's Square at the Vatican city December 17, 2005. The 30 meters (100 feet) high pine tree was donated to Pope Benedict XVI by the town of Afiesi, in the province of Upper Austria. (REUTERS)
