But here is the line-by-line translation of the little "motto" up at the top above my dear St. Tony:

Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus, Dominus Deus Sabaoth

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts.

Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua

Heaven and earth are full of Thy glory.

Hosanna, in excelsis

Hosanna in the highest.

Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini

Blessed is he who cometh in the name of the Lord.

Hosanna in excelsis.

Hosanna in the highest.

This is the part of the Mass called "the Sanctus" since it begins, duh, with the word "Sanctus." My Catholic friends will recognize this as the "Holy, Holy, Holy" we sing at Mass on Sundays - although we pause after "Lord" and instead of "God of Hosts" we sing, "God of power and might." Apparently this is an unfortunate mistranslation that worked its way in with the updating of the liturgy. See this article from Adoremus.
