Being Genius Me (stop laughing out there!) I left studying for my Statistics exam until the last minute. Which is now. 60 seconds, 59 seconds, 58 ... Anyway, I also started to come down with a bit of a cold on Thursday (when I was getting ready for my Logic exam) and it has since come on full force. I made the mistake of coughing whilst on the telephone with Mother, and she made me promise to pick up some cough syrup called Delsym (or similar). I can't see how it has helped, although I've only taken two spoonfuls in the last 18 hours ... The bit of information on the label was in teaspoons. What rot! I don't have those sorts of measuring things in my dorm room, we aren't allowed to cook. "Streeeectly against the rules."
Also I would probably manage to poison myself.
How many teaspoons is a spoon? Ack, I didn't feel like overdosing and lapsing into a coma, so I only took two. Perhaps, however, I ought to reconsider. Girls in comas are not made to take Statistics finals, are they? With my luck, they would arrive at my bedside with some fantastic gizmo and say "Right, marvelous news, we've invented a way for you to determine whether to reject the null hypothesis while you are yet in Floaty Floaty Land." And Dan the Logic Grad Student would pop up and say, "And for this one, would you use De Morgan's or Trans?" And I would say, "Trans is the one with the wedge?" And he would reply, "No, idiot, that's Implication."
If you have no idea what I have been saying, count yourself lucky and pray you never have to learn. I, myself, have not learned it. It would probably irk you, too :)
