Mmmm, Beef

Today was fun-o. First, mother took me to get my hair cut - just a little trim, nothing drastic! - and we went to Target and Kohl's to do some shopping. I got some nice long skirts that I can wear to Church in the wintertime. I took mother to Confession immediately afterward. I was getting really annoyed at her while we were shopping, because her taste and my taste do not often meet. I felt badly about that, but I went to Confession last week, and I'm pretty sure I haven't fallen into mortal sin, even with my irritability. I was being provoked! That's my excuse :(

Around 5 I was supposed to go have coffee with Shanana, but I got lost! Yes, there is no one who can get lost in their own hometown but me, Einstein Maggie. I ended up driving around for a total of about an hour (after coming BACK home, once, to get driving directions) before I called it quits. Shanana was totally understanding, and so we changed our date from 5 (it was already after 6!) to 8:00. In the meantime, me and la famille went to Steak n' Shake for supper; I had BEEF TACO SALAD which was delicious - although, sadly, they did not give me very much beef. I held off on desert, which consisted of a chunky thick brownie topped with hot fudge, ice cream, whipped cream and a cherry. You have no idea how much will power that took, he he he :)

At 8 me and Shannon went to Starbucks (I managed to find her house this time! You would think after visiting there several times I would remember where it was) and it was tons of fun. I had a Tall caramel Apple Cider, yum yum. I'm all tuckered out and I still have a lot of homework to do - didn't do any today! Mass is at noon (we're going to the Latin at Immaculate Conception - if you click the link you can see a picture. Pretty church, eh?) so I'm going to stay up a bit.
