Requiescat in pace
Sad, sad news. Gerard Serafin, of A Catholic Blog for Lovers, has died. I always enjoyed his blog - it's such a shock! He wasn't in the best health, when on earth, and now he is in ecstasy. We've got to try not to be selfish, and think about how good it is for him, not how bad it is for us :(

Ho ho ho fudging the old canonization process, I see. Shouldn't we be begging people to pray for his poor soul? If he's in Purgatory, he'd like that. I hope when I'm in Purgatory everyone doesn't think I'm in Heaven. Little chance of that, I guess, lol.
ReplyDeleteEw, you insensitive ... ;) Well,purgation occurs outside of time - God's "eternal now" - so we can safely say he's in Heaven, I believe.
ReplyDeleteOn second thought, you're right, we better pray. I, too, would want beacoup prayers going up to Heaven for me :)
