I just wanted to post this pretty picture. It is the Madonna of the Roses, by William Bouguereau. You could buy it for me for Christmas at the Art Renewal Center. It is very expensive, but if you have enough money (Betsy, ahem) you might think of getting it for certain people for Christmas (hint, hint).

Please note: the "Madonna of the Roses" was painted in the 19th century, and has nothing to do with the Bayside apparitions of "Our Lady of the Roses" - I believe the authorities have declared the "apparitions" to be fraudulent.
