Okay. I put it up. What an ugly girl (me). Lovely buck teeth, etc. There are better pictures of me with curly hair, I hope! Blackmailers! Just kidding, I love you schmucks! ;)

  5. My Latin is rotten, as it's been almost two years since I took the class. However, I do know that if the Latin Iacobus is like other male names, it takes the genitive form Iacobi; I believe that in the Latin Vulgate Ezekiel is rendered Hiezecihel, but you might wanna Google that :) In that sentence, "son" would be rendered filium ...

Look what I found! The Latin Vulgate, with the English right beside it, and if you look in Chapter 3 it says "The word of the Lord came to Ezechiel the priest the son of Buzi" which the Latin has as "factum est verbum Domini ad Hiezecihel filium Buzi sacerdotem ."

So I'm thinking, Ezekiel son of James would be Hiezecihel filium Iacobi.

The only thing is with that translation, what happened to the genitive form of Buzi? Wouldn't it be Buzii? So maybe "Iacobi" is suspect as well.

Anyway, that's what I think it is. But maybe you better ask someone with a degree or something before you get it permanently on your body :)

PS Who knew! National Instant Noodles!
