Natch, natch, natch

So, today was second-to-last salad bar day. It was actually OK, simply because I didn't have to refill anything I couldn't recognize. All of our dining hall customers were monster ketchup-eaters, and I don't mind doing the ketchup, even though it's messy and results in my having to change my gloves about seven or eight times.

The machine we use to clock in and clock out is broken, so I've had to have student managers sign my time card for the last couple days. They weren't exactly surly, but I still get the idea that I'm not one of their favorite people. Alas. However, I think I am going to sign up for some hours for next quarter, simply because I need the money. And evening clean-up isn't that bad. So maybe I'll do that.

I just saw that I forgot to make a special post for Veteran's Day (shame on me!), so I'll steal from The Curt Jester, who posts the Navy Hymn - Eternal Father, Strong to Save - along with some verses for the other branches of the service, including my kid brother's - the Marines:
Eternal Father, grant, we pray
To all Marines, both night and day,
The courage, honor, strength, and skill
Their land to serve, Thy law fulfill;
Be Thou the shield forevermore
From every peril to the Corps.
Amen.

  2. I'm so happy that I'm Maggie's nicest roommate and not the cruel one :) But I still can't believe Maggie thinks my boyfriend is hot.

    P.S. Rod is hot
