One year ago today, Theresa Schindler Schiavo starved to death.
She was not residing in a Third World country, suffering under a blood-thirsty tyrant, or living in poverty. She was in a well-appointed hospice in the wealthiest nation on the face of the earth, surrounded by a family that wanted desperately to feed her.
